SUMMARY:FWC Social - Bus trip to Saint Arnold Brewing Company & Giant Texas Distillers
DESCRIPTION:Join the FWC for a day of sightseeing and spirits on a one-of-a-kind bus trip to Saint Arnold Brewing and Giant Texas Distillers. \nWe will meet at the Bradford Creek Clubhouse at 10:15 am on Saturday\, March 4th and travel to Saint Arnold Brewing Company\, Texas’ Oldest Craft Brewery located just north of downtown Houston\, TX offering craft beers\, ciders\, delicious food\, and views of downtown in their beer garden and restaurant.  At this location you will have the opportunity to sip a beverage (beer\, cider\, root beer\, sparking water)\, eat lunch\, and enjoy the spacious outdoor beer garden overlooking downtown Houston or relax inside in the temperature controlled restaurant and tasting room.  We will remain at this location for about 2 hours and then travel to Giant Texas Distillers which is just up the road near the Houston Ship Channel. \nGiant Texas Distillers is a fully operational distillery in Houston\, TX offering 100% Texas Made Whiskey\, Rye\, & Brandy\, Vodka\, and Gin.  The tasting room offers spirit samples\, cocktails\, and there is a fantastic food truck on site with out-of-this world burgers\, tacos\, and chicken wings. There will also be an opportunity to tour the distillery while we are there.  We will stay at this location for another 2-2.5 hours and then head back to Cypress. \nMembers and Guests are welcome to participate.  Spouses are welcomed!! The only cost to participate is the cost of the food and drinks you consume at each location.  Space is limited – You MUST sign-up for this event PRIOR to the day of the event.  Also – if you take the bus – you must travel home on the bus.  There will be no exceptions!! \nPlease sign-up at the February General Membership Meeting or email the club at fairfieldwomensclub@gmail.com. \n  \n
