SUMMARY:FWC Social Event - Azalea Trail Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special FWC Social Event field trip to Tiny Boxwoods and the Houston Garden Club’s Azalea Trail on Saturday\, March 5th! \nThis is the 86th annual celebration of the Azalea Trail and welcomes the newest blooms of spring! If you haven’t experienced this yet\, please join us this year! The Trail features the Famous Bayou Bend Home and Gardens\, Rienzi Gardens\, The Forum of Civics building\, and 4 residential gardens. \nWe will meet at Bradford Creek Clubhouse on March 5th at 10am. From there we will carpool into town to have brunch at Tiny Boxwoods in Houston at 11am. After brunch we will proceed to the Azalea Trail\, starting at The Forum\, then to Bayou Bend\, and then to the other sites. Walking is involved so\, wear comfortable shoes!! \nTickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance. The closest ticket location to Cypress is The Arbor Gate garden center in Tomball (15635 Farm to Market 2920\, Tomball\, TX 77377). Suzanne is planning to purchase tickets in advance at Arbor Gate. If you would like for her to purchase a ticket for you while she is there\, you must have $30 (CASH ONLY) to her by Monday\, February 28th. Suzanne can be contacted at 713-253-0113. \nIf you would like to purchase your own ticket\, you can do so at Arbor Gate or please see the River Oaks Garden Club website for additional ticketing locations. \nCarol Underwood is the contact person for this event. If planning to attend\, please RSVP to Carol via TEXT MESSAGE at 713-256-4126. If you have additional questions or you can’t meet for brunch but want to meet us on the trail\, please coordinate with Carol via TEXT. She will call you back when she is available. DESCRIPTION:Our March General Meeting will be held at Bradford Creek Clubhouse on March 22nd from 7-8:30.\nWe will have 2 guest speakers at this meeting. \nThe first speaker will be from the Lone Star Bleeding Disorders Foundation.
